‘Icy Chill on Fire, an anthology of poems, has been persuasively divided into three parts to facilitate an absorbing eye of the reader. Poems deal with an individual’s mind, his immediate surroundings and the larger world we all live in at some emotional cost, reasonable or not, it depends on depths of intellect and the largeness of our hearts. May not be always aware, each individual lives and contributes to the universal that we are so fond of talking. Each poem liked by readers is like a debt the poet owes to his fellow beings.

The book is a series of conversations, within the self, with an imagined listener, the poet in the role of a dedicated interlocutor.
