Abbas Hyder Dar

Abbas Hyder Dar is a Kashmiri author and independent researcher with a keen interest in conflict studies, history, and international affairs. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Aligarh Muslim University and a Master's degree in Politics and International Relations. Growing up amid the realities of Kashmir, Abbas developed a profound understanding of the social and psychological effects of prolonged conflict. His research focuses on geopolitical developments, West Asian politics, and the human impact of violence on communities. A Glimpse Too Late is his debut novel and reflects years of observation, research, and personal engagement with the stories of ordinary Kashmiris. Through literary fiction, he seeks to preserve memories, document human suffering, and encourage empathy across political and cultural divides. His writing combines historical awareness with emotional storytelling, creating narratives that are both thought-provoking and deeply moving. Abbas believes literature has the power to bridge differences, inspire dialogue, and remind readers that behind every conflict lie countless untold human stories.
